- Familiarity with the WordPress platform.
- Experience in customizing WordPress, installing themes, and plugins.

We need a volunteer to help us design a new functionality to our membership website (www.aaeafrica.org/home/members). The required functionality is a startup project listing service for our new entrepreneurs. The listing service should allow the startups to solicit startup capital through crowdfunding sources. There would be brief funder profiles and the sharing of feedback (threaded comments) on the startup project pages. The ideal volunteer should have knowledge of PHP programming language, be familiar with the WordPress platform and should know how to edit Plugins

(http://www.aaeafrica.org) Our vision is to become the voice of change and platform for dialogue among the African people as well as involving the International audience to be a part in helping developing nations promote the entrepreneurial spirit. The “startup lifecycle” of an entrepreneur is a journey characterized by a unique set of obstacles to deal with and overcome. Chiefly among these obstacles are capital and marketing. Startup funding helps a startup go from idea to actual business.
Volunteers: 5 needed
1-5 hours per week / 8 weeks
