The UNV programme in the DR Congo is seeking the support of an Online Volunteer for the design and layout of the UNV Office Briefing Kit, which contains important information for all new volunteers recruited for DRC. In recognition of the online volunteers’ contribution, we will give due credit to the volunteer on the product he/she will help us develop.

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) is the UN organization that contributes to peace and development through volunteerism worldwide. In the DRC, there are currently around 500 UN Volunteers serving both within the United Nations Mission for the Stabilization of DRC and UN agencies funds and programmes. Coming from 89 different countries, UN Volunteers bring a wide variety of skills to support MONUSCO Peacekeeping Operations and UN Agencies, including, Human Rights, Gender, Engineering, Political Affairs, Civil Society organizations, etc. UNV pursues global recognition of volunteers for peace and development, encourages the integration of volunteerism into development programmes, and promotes the mobilization of increasing numbers and greater diversity of volunteers contributing to peace and development. This briefing kit will help UN Volunteers coming to DRC to have sufficient information before they depart from their home country.
Volunteers: 2 needed
6-10 hours per week / 3 weeks
Proven experience in design softwares (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) Drawing skills will be an asset. Please include web links/portfolio including examples of previous designs. Working languages are both English and French.
