Support with content and design of a promotional outreach document highlighting the mandate and work of the Office and the Victims’ Rights Advocate (OVRA) and areas of potential collaboration with national human rights institutions (NHRIs). We are looking for a creative and motivated online volunteer to support OVRA (in collaboration with the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) to create a document for outreach to NHRIs around the world on prevention and response to sexual exploitation and abuse by United Nations personnel, and facilitation of accountability processes, including the resolution of child paternity and maintenance claims.

    The online volunteer will be tasked to develop content and design for the document which will consist of approximately 2-3 pages of text, including tables, graphs and images. The design and its layout should follow our corporate design guidelines which will be shared with the online volunteer in advance. The online volunteer will be working in collaboration with a video editor, who will be producing a complementary video package highlighting the mandate and work of the Office and the Victims’ Rights Advocate (OVRA) and areas of potential collaboration with national human rights institutions (NHRIs).

  • 6-10 hours per week / 4 weeks

    We are looking for online volunteers with previous experience in communication and designing document layouts with in-depth knowledge of graphic design applications, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates should have experience with NHRIs national human rights institutions. A degree in graphic design or related field is considered an asset.
