You have:

• Must have experience in project management, especially related to education and capacity building.
• Experience working with local partners and governments.
• Knowledge of technical aspects of secondary education, with emphasis on girls' education.
• Ability to manage grant budget and financial reports according to donor requirements.
• Strong staff management and supervision skills.
• Experience in effective communication and reporting to donors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee Consortium’s work in an assigned grant, ensuring that all grant goals are met
• Provide technical oversight to ensure effective secondary education activities, with an emphasis on girls’ education, are properly implemented. ​
• Collaborate closely with local partner organizations and other staff members developing and maintaining partnerships to meet project goals.
• Lead and build capacity in potential local partners, promoting effective collaboration in the project.
• Work with the Technical Specialist in Capacity Building, to ensure training and transfer of knowledge, resources and processes for local partners
• Establish and maintain effective reporting, evaluation, and internal communication.
• Ensure timely and accurate reports that meet donor requirements.
• Demonstrate strong staff management practices, consistent with donor requirements and local laws.
• Ensure proper technical capacity of staff is available
• Manage grant budget within approved spending levels and ensure accurate and timely financial reports to donors and Consortium members
• Ensure grant expenses are reasonable, allocable, prudent and spent in accordance with donor rules and regulations to ensure clean audits
• Oversee supplies and equipment acquisition, disposition, and management in compliance with donor requirements
• Liaise with host government officials, local communities and other organizations as appropriate
• Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by Chief of Party
