In partnership with UNDP Uzbekistan under the GEF Small Grants Programme (SGP), Tech4R is implementing the Digital Platform for Animal Identification and Management in Uzbekistan as part of the Chip-Mahalla 2025 initiative. This project supports the implementation of Uzbekistan’s new Animal Identification Law by developing a centralized, open-source platform for the registration and management of domestic and shelter animals. The system will help track animal identification, vaccination, and welfare data while improving coordination among veterinary services, shelters, and municipalities. The Data Management & QA Volunteers will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, validating, and testing datasets used within the platform. They will ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency while supporting integration and system quality assurance. Their contribution will help establish a reliable, data-driven foundation for animal welfare and public health monitoring in Uzbekistan.

The Volunteer together with the team will: • Clean, validate, and structure animal identification and registration datasets for platform integration. • Conduct data quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Assist in preparing sample datasets for pilot testing and system validation. • Identify and document data issues and collaborate with database and software teams to resolve them. • Support integration testing to confirm data accuracy and system performance. • Prepare short data summaries and reports for internal use and documentation.
