Data Extraction for Digital Technologies Radar development

SDG AI Lab is developing the digital tool – technology radar, which would provide categorized and visualized information on the digital technologies use cases in disaster context.  The tool is intended to support the work of UNDP and other development stakeholders working in the disaster management. The developing digital requires data which will be extracted from the collected documents. This assignment requires to extract information from these documents.

The online volunteers will support the ongoing project on technology radar for disaster management. The volunteers will work on the data extraction from the UN websites and reports for the radar. The assigned task includes

• Manual information extraction(document title, document description etc.) from the collected documents such as publications and articles

SDG AI Lab will support the volunteer as needed, with regular check-ins and maintaining collaboration through MS Teams and GitHub group repository. The volunteer will work under the coordination of the Technical Specialist of the IICPSD.
