RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) training to learn how to use the cloud-based management platform efficiently. - Enter data into the IRC’s ETO. - Verify and correct data discrepancies or errors. - Perform regular monitoring of data to ensure data integrity. - Maintain confidentiality and security of all data entered. - Assist with data collection and analysis as needed. - Organize and maintain files and records. - Keep class attendance on ETO. - Support the Adult Education Department team with other tasks as needed.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

- The intern will receive hands-on experience working with data management for non-profit organizations. - The Intern will learn how to use case management platforms to manage data successfully. - The Intern will practice organizational and time management skills. - The Intern will practice research and collection of data skills.

Qualifications REQUIREMENTS:

- Current undergraduate or graduate student passionate about data management - Strong organizational and analytical skills - Excellent writing and oral communication skills - Cultural competence and cross-cultural or overseas experience desirable - Fluent in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word - Experience in Box, Microsoft Teams, and Google Drive desirable - Experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations is desirable. - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team - Understanding of data confidentiality principles - Bilingual speaking abilities are a plus (Spanish, French, Ukrainian, Russian, Pashto, Dari, or Farsi)
