You have:

- Experience communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage time with competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Self-starter and a critical thinker that can work independently and drive projects forward
- Experience in leading and influencing others
- The ability to learn global humanitarian aid programming (e.g. supply chain, grant proposals, program design, procurement) quickly; prior global NGO experience preferred
- French, Spanish, or Arabic language abilities at a conversational level or higher is a plus
Job Description
Technology and Operations supports the organization’s work by providing reliable and scalable solutions for the IRC’s offices around the world, including many technologically challenging locations.
The Data Excellence Team at IRC is responsible for the design and delivery of data technology and data programs at the IRC. Our team sets the standard for high-impact results by establishing and cultivating relationships across the organization, driving continuous improvement, and delivering value through the implementation of high-quality, strategic data programs.
Job Overview/Summary:

Major Responsibilities:
Program Engagement
· Lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary department focal points to achieve IRC’s Strategic Data Ambition
· Organize and build excitement around an org-wide data community of practice with data focal points across departments and systems
· Capture and analyze organizational needs across multiple departments and translate them into program actions and requirements
· Design and implement best practices and processes that enable teams to move quickly and efficiently
· Advise Program Managers on program workplans, roadmaps, status, risks, and mitigation plans
· Coordinate with Program Managers to update program feedback, issue, and risk logs
· Coordinate across cross-functional stakeholders to identify constraints, dependencies, issues
· Help create and foster a team culture of data and operational excellence
· Develop training materials and communications that champion data programs
Communications, Meeting Facilitation, and Work-Shopping
· Train stakeholders and departments on standards for data collection, visualization, analysis, use, sharing, etc.
· Facilitate cross-functional global workshops virtually and/or in-person
· Advocate for organizational data improvements and priorities
· Create inclusive and brave spaces to promote open sharing of feedback, ideas, and dialogue with cross-cultural stakeholders
· Develop annual reports through quantitative and qualitative analyses
· Storytelling with data through creative visualizations, both verbally and in writing
· Lead use of collaborative meeting facilitation, work-shopping, and ideas technologies (e.g. Miro, Mural, Pidgeonhole)
· Schedule and facilitate Data Excellence Program Meetings, Trainings, and Routines
· Lead development of standard internal team workflow, document management, terminology/logo standardization
· Lead development of org-wide training materials, communities of practices, and data education routines
Key Working Relationships:
- Data Team - Process Partners, Business Partners, data and systems focal points, data team, and technology colleagues - Decision makers and Operations leads in the IRC’s Regions and Programs

Working Environment:
