The gender team at UNDP is looking for volunteers for the COVID-19 Global Gender Response Tracker to analyze/research the government policy responses to COVID-19 from a gender perspective including policy measures such as social protection (social insurance, social assistance, care services) and labor market measures in Danish. This will help us in contributing to global knowledge on policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic through a gender lens and provide rich information on policy options. It can provide guidance for policymakers and evidence for advocates to ensure a gender-sensitive COVID-19 policy response.

Other communications related experience
The COVID-19 pandemic is revealing pre-existing structural economic inequalities and injustices that can no longer be ignored. This includes gender-based inequalities, such as the uneven distribution of care responsibilities, women’s limited access to formal employment and social protection, the gender digital divide and pervasive violence against women, which are now being exacerbated during the COVID-19 crisis. The new COVID-19 Global Gender Response Tracker can help governments make the most of this opportunity. The tracker monitors economic and social policy measures from a gender perspective that have been planned or implemented by governments worldwide in response to the pandemic. It is coordinated by UNDP with technical contributions and substantive leadership from UN Women. Co-created by both agencies, the tracker aims to contribute to global knowledge on policy responses to the COVID-19 pandemic through a gender lens and provide rich information on policy options. It can provide guidance for policymakers and evidence for advocates to ensure a gender-sensitive COVID-19 policy response.
