The Opportunity

For more than 50 years, Trócaire has been synonymous with giving in Ireland. The Fundraising & Marketing Team (F&M) is responsible for raising public income, recruiting new supporters, retaining existing supporters and growing our relevance by creating a better connection with Trócaire’s work and its impact. The team proudly won Ireland's 'Fundraising Team of the Year' award in 2019 and 2022 and an exciting new role has been created within our award-winning team.

As a Data Analytics Officer, you will play a crucial role in providing data insight and analysis to the both the Fundraising & Marketing Team and the Public Engagment team. These insights are cruitical to drive our fundraising campaigns and engagement with our supporters. You will work closely with the Marketing Officers to support them in developing and maintaining KPIs. This role is critical is developing further the Data Culture and Data Strategy within the Ireland Division.

Reporting to Data Analytics Manager this is a permanent role, based in either our Maynooth or Belfast office and offiering Hybrid working. The salary range range depending on candidate experience and location for this role are as follows:

· ROI: €49,500 - €52,000

· NI: £34,500 - £36,000

Requirements

You should have a keen understanding of Data Analytics Principles and Methodologies. You should have previous experience in a similar role and be able to demonstrate initiative to work independently. You will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills. An ability to create Data Visualisation that present KPIs clearly and in a manner that is accessible to all users is essential. Working closely with the Marketing officers you will be responsible for generating marketing lists for email and direct mail campaigns and advising on data strategies to improve response rates and efficiencies. A key aspect of the role will be to draw actionable insights from data while reviewing fundraising campaigns and communicate these clearly to the team. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative and agile environment and have a passion for data and how it can inform the decision-making process.
