Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Background The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) is committed to improving the delivery and impact of its supply chain services across all areas of operation. As part of its ongoing efforts to support data-driven decision-making and enhance engagement with stakeholders, UNRWA is developing a PowerPoint-based dashboard to visually present key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and program highlights ________________________________________ 2. Objective of the Assignment The intern will support supply chain and logistics data analysis, contributing to the effective monitoring of project activities by performing quantitative and qualitative analyses and producing timely and actionable insights ________________________________________ 3. Duties and Responsibilities The intern will work closely with the logistics team to: • Support the development of tools and templates for data collection and dashboards • Consolidate data from different spreadsheets and programs • Collect, clean, and validate logistics-related data • Present and visualize logistics and supply chain data using Excel and other tools • Assist with analyzing data for reports and presentations • Support the analysis of datasets and the creation of dashboards • Ensure data security and proper documentation ________________________________________ 4. Deliverables • Cleaned and validated datasets • Consolidated reports and dashboards • Visual presentations of supply chain and logistics data ________________________________________

Qualifications/special skills

  1. Required Qualifications Education: • Bachelor’s degree, preferred areas of study: Computer science, data analytics, software development, information management, data science, or statistics, or other related fields Experience: • Applicants to the UNRWA Internship Program are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required • Experience in developing data collection tools and using data visualization platforms. • Advanced knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet functions • Experience in designing and implementing interactive data visualization solutions is required • English fluency • Writing skills ________________________________________ 6. Duration and Working Conditions This is a full-time internship for 6 months, based in Amman ________________________________________ 7.
