• A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional work experience.
• Expertise in data analysis and visualization.
• Excellent report writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Strong familiarity with child rights frameworks and advocacy.

Individual Consultant: Data Advocacy Consultant – Part Time

Duty Station: New Delhi

Contract Duration: This Consultant contract will be for an estimated total of 65 days over the 5-month period, with an average of 12.5 days per month.

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.

HOW TO APPLY:

The application to be submitted through the online portal and should contain three separate attachments:

i. A Cover letter explaining suitability for position (to be uploaded online under “Cover Letter” tab)

ii. Curriculum Vitae (CV) references (to be uploaded online under “Resume” tab)

iii. A financial proposal indicating all-inclusive monthly professional fee and travel cost, as per the template attached (to be uploaded online under “Financial Proposal” tab). - Financial Proposal - Data Advocacy Consultant.docx

iv. A recent writing sample (up to 3 years old), which can include a professional publication, or a report or some other writing piece completed as part of their professional work. This sample should demonstrate analysis of quantitative datasets and presentation of key graphs, tables, and/or other data visualizations. Where a writing piece has several authors, the applicant should specify which sections were written by her/him. (Note by submitting a writing sample, the consultant confirms this is their original work. If it is found not to be original work, this will be grounds for non-selection.) v. One reference letter from a previous supervisor (to be uploaded online under “Other – Applicant” as a single document)

Important Note: Please do not indicate financials anywhere else in the online application form, please mark "n/a or 00", under the fee related questions in the online application form.

Without all the above 5 documents, your application will be considered incomplete and invalid and will not be considered further.
