The Competency Center is the ERP unit within the IT department in the Danish Refugee Council. We work in an international environment with employees from various countries and cultures, and we are committed to driving and providing support to the ambitious digital changes that the organization is undergoing. Our environment is based primarily on Microsoft/cloud products such as Office 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure.

About the job

The D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) System Administrator manages the System Administration support and Release Management processes for all Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations environments in the Danish Refugee Council. The System Administrator has a good understanding of how D365 F&O behaves to continuously optimize its performance.

As D365 F&O System Administrator, your primary tasks will be to:

  • Be responsible for supporting the system configuration. All administrative tasks related to settings, security roles, batch jobs, rules and workflows.
  • Be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of security role definitions and configuration.

  • Work with the system experts to design, test and implement technical solutions as defined by business requirements.

  • Develop documentation related to system administration tasks.
  • Support auditing exercises.
  • Lead and participate in projects to improve D365 F&O system.
  • Function as a key member in the Release and Change management processes.
  • Work with the developers and system experts to design, validate and document DevOps work items.
  • Stay updated of current and emerging features in D365 F&O system.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • Technical experience in D365 Systems Administration and Configuration.
  • 2 years of experience with ERP systems, either from an operational organization or from implementation projects.
  • Excellent skills in handling and advising on simple and complex system issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-oriented individual who can prioritize and execute activities in a high-pressure environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning, critical thinking and good judgement.
  • Demonstrated cultural sensibility and adaptability.
  • Fluent in English – written and oral.

Desirable

  • Academic degree in Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of French and/or Danish.
  • Work experience from an international NGO.

Contract length: Until 31 May 2023. The contract is temporary as it is a maternity cover.

Workplace: Borgergade 10, Copenhagen

Working hours: 37 hours per week.

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the agreement between DRC and AC at “fuldmægtig” level or PROSA depending on your educational background.

This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply.
