UNDP's Youth Co:Lab is looking for help to transfer our extensive library of videos from the Wix platform to YouTube. On our current site: https://www.youthcolab.org/ videos are curated in different playlists and used throughout the site to promote our work on youth empowerment. We are looking to recreate our playlists from Wix in Youtube so that our videos are easy to find and sorted in a logical manner. This will require individually transferring each of our roughly 40 videos through the wix platform using the 'share to social' button. Once the videos are on the YouTube platform, we will need to sort our videos into playlists reflecting what is shown on our website.

Youth Co:Lab runs its website through the Wix platform and has been uploading videos to the platform since its inception. Unfortunately, Wix has a limit of 5 hours total video content and is not as intuitive as YouTube. YouTube will provide us with an opportunity to share the stories of young social entrepreneurs throughout Asia-Pacific with a wider audience, as it is recognised on more platforms and more accessible for youth. This task will help young social entrepreneurs gain more exposure for their organizations and hopefully inspire other aspiring entrepreneurs to use their creativity to innovate more solutions to SDG problems.
Volunteers: 1 needed
6-10 hours per week / 2 weeks
Candidates will have a keen interest in development programmes and digital production. Candidates will need to have access to a reliable internet source and be able to store a modest amount of data on their desktop or laptop. Videos will need to be downloaded locally and re-uploaded so do bear in mind if you do not have unlimited internet data, we do not want volunteers paying for excess internet data.
