The Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, as a nation committed to advancing the well-being of its people, is focusing on integrating impactful advocacy tools into development efforts. UNICEF São Tomé and Príncipe recognizes the significance of visual storytelling in engaging stakeholders, raising awareness, and driving change. As part of its mission, the organization seeks to translate complex data and insights from the COAR 2024 report into accessible, visually engaging infographics. This approach aligns with UNICEF's principles of equity and inclusion, ensuring that key messages resonate effectively across diverse audiences. The infographics will play a pivotal role in showcasing results and progress, fostering transparency and strengthening advocacy for child rights. This initiative is further strengthened by the contribution of the selected online volunteer, whose expertise in digital art will transform the COAR 2024 report into compelling visuals that can be leveraged in campaigns and communications. By incorporating insights from the COAR report, the infographics will underscore priorities such as health, nutrition, and education, while promoting systemic change through a child-centered lens.

UNICEF STP is seeking a skilled online volunteer who, under guidance of UNICEF STP Communication Officer and overall supervision of UNICEF STP Deputy Representative, will be responsible for creating and editing impactful and visually engaging infographics based on a provided document. Specifically, the online volunteer is asked to: Provide 5 final art piece (infographics) in PNG and editable format. Tentative timeline of the assignment: 1st – 23rd May Delivery of first drafts of infographics. 30th May – UNICEF STP office provides feedback. 13th June – Delivery of final infographics. By submitting the final art pieces, the online volunteer agrees to let UNICEF use it as deemed fit. UNICEF will provide credit to the artist. The ideal candidate will have expertise in translating complex information into clear, concise, and visually appealing graphics that effectively communicate key messages. Responsibilities include analyzing the document's content, identifying essential data and insights, and designing infographics that align with the objectives and target audience.
