Support the Communications, Advocacy & Partnerships team in developing materials for the Country Programme 2026-2030.

You have:

• A degree in a relevant area such as Journalism, Sociology, Political Science, Digital Communications, International Relations, Marketing, Public Relations, or other related fields.
• 2 years of professional experience at the national and/or international level in communications or other relevant programs.
• Experience with social media, web communications, resource mobilization and media relations is an asset.
• Experience working in the UN system or other international non-profit organizations.

UNICEF Oman is seeking an individual to support the Communications, Advocacy & Partnerships team in developing materials that effectively engage diverse audiences - from partners to the general public. These materials will be published on UNICEF’s website and shared widely to enhance visibility, strengthen partnerships, and support advocacy and awareness efforts linked to the Country Programme 2026–2030.

The selected individual will work closely with the Partnerships Officer and Communications Specialist to plan and draft a series of advocacy briefs aligned with the new Country Programme Document (CPD). The briefs should translate the CPD’s technical content into clear, accessible language and highlight the key programme areas and priorities of UNICEF Oman.

The volunteer will:

Understand, and condense the CPD document in accessible language:

Create content for 2 pagers for the following 5 documents:

General overview of the CPD and its goals

Focus on Early Childhood Development

Focus on Adolescence

Focus on Social Protection

Focus on Child Protection & Inclusion

Translate these documents to create 5 documents in Arabic

Create a consistent design for all the materials that is visually appealing and easy to read

Deliverables will be:

5, 2-page concise documents in English, complete with design work

5, corresponding 2-page documents in Arabic, complete with design work

Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit 2 examples of work (written and layout/design) with their application.
