Create a project for a sustainable environmental education center

There is a growing need for environmental education and awareness in the communities that surround AJTKD in Brazil, as well as a desire to learn about and implement sustainable practices. At the same time, the lack of access to sports and physical activity opportunities for such communities is becoming a concern. The proposed education center should address this need by providing a space for hands-on learning, workshops, and educational programs that focus on conservation, sustainability, and the environment, as well as safe and welcoming space for children and young people to practice sports.

AJTKD is looking for three volunteers to draft a project proposal to establish a sustainable environmental education center in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, that will serve as a hub for learning and engagement on topics related to conservation, sustainability, and the environment, while also offering a safe and welcoming space for children and young people to practice sport. The center will provide educational programs and resources for students, educators, and community members, as well as serve as a model for sustainable practices and technologies.

• Strong understanding of sustainable building principles and practices, including knowledge of green building materials and technologies, energy efficiency, and water conservation.

• Experience in project management and the ability to develop and implement project plans and timelines.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess the feasibility and impact of sustainable solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.

• Experience with research, data analysis, and evaluation, with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong understanding of economic, social, and environmental issues and the ability to apply this knowledge to the development of sustainable projects.
