Are you an exceptional Finance Manager who can effectively manage financial resources and ensure optimal utilization in supporting UK-Med’s humanitarian initiatives and programs in Ukraine?

  • Hours: Full-time

  • Pay: £3,500 GBP to £4,000 GBP gross per year (dependent on experience)

  • Duration: 12 months with possible extension

  • Location: Ukraine

This role is within our Ukraine Programme and will be carried out in Ukraine.

Preferably applicants need to have an existing right to enter Schengen Zone countries in order to transit to Ukraine e.g. citizenship/residence of a Schengen Zone country, or an ETIAS eligible country (https://www.etiasvisa.com/etias-requirements) but this is not essential.

As our new Country Finance Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the financial operations and resources of UK-Med across our program in Ukraine.

You will be comfortable working at pace and thrive on achieving challenging objectives and meeting rapidly changing demands. You will be aiding management in financial decisions.

The incumbent will adapt and implement UK-Med’s finance initiatives and practices, across our field offices in Ukraine. Serving as an advisor to improve financial management, reporting, monitoring and donor compliance, promoting sound internal controls and minimizing financial risks.

Our ideal candidate will bring substantial financial management expertise developed through relevant professional experience in the humanitarian / INGO sector and managing complex multi grant projects.
