I-OPPORTUNITY
The country accountant is responsible for the organisation's accounting, financial risk management systems and practices, the maintenance of its financial records and the preparation of its statutory country financial reports. Coordinates the financial management of the country office in accordance with Plan requirements. Provides timely and accurate financial information on financial transactions. He/she will also ensure that internal financial and payment control processes are in place to achieve value for money at all times.
II-ABOUT YOU
The country accountant must have a degree (BAC + 4) in accounting, financial management and at least 2 years' experience in a similar role, as well as good organisational and record-keeping skills. He/she must be organised, methodical and meticulous and have a good sense of customer service as well as a facility for dealing with staff and third parties, and very good oral and written communication skills.
