ROLE PURPOSE:

Corporate Partnership Specialist is supporting Corporate Partnership Manager (CPM) that represents an organizational shift rather than a fundraising tactic for short-term gain. Whereas traditional fundraising or account management treats every donors/client’s relationship approximately the same, key account management reorganizes the business’s teams and culture to develop different approaches to their biggest donors/clients across the organization. Therefore, the position has a greater responsibility to support CPM for both the donors/clients and the donors/clients’ interactions with other employees and departments to ensure a greater lifetime value for their donors/clients.

Corporate Partnership Specialist is responsible to lead the engagement with the most important donor/client accounts within Save the Children (STC) especially MNC. This position also responsible to collaborative work with Members based Home Based Donor SCI’s regulation starting from. They will lead administration work, point of contact for all partnership work, and support the CPM for successful long-lasting member country relations.

Account Executives essential functions:

Responsible for strengthening the relations with donors and as the resource person for donor compliance.

Identify, research, and prioritize create funding opportunities with Members from corporate; provide clear recommendations to pursue and initiate action.

In collaboration with the program teams, develop, and review annual stewardship reports for corporate donors/partners and ensure they are delivered according to the agreed upon schedule.

Support the co-creation opportunities with internal SC IDN, potential donors, and local partners.

Managing AMS system, tracker, database, dashboard, KPI and meetings

Manage, coordinate, and advance partnership.

Working with Donor Stewardship to implement donor stewardship program

Support the Award Management Function

In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

New Business Development (35%)

Support Corporate Partnership Manager in review, operationalise and track progress against Save the Children Indonesia’s fundraising strategy for the 2022-2024 strategic plan period, to achieve and increase country impact.

Pro-actively seek local donor intelligence on prospective new opportunities or partnerships. Work with Technical Advisors to develop pro-active concept notes for country strategic goals and cross-sectoral integration. Pitches should reflect innovation, ambitions, common approaches and new creative thinking to achieve more for children in line with our Country Strategy Plan and emerging early recovery context in Indonesia.

Work with Save the Children members and regional office to explore the potential for private sectors partnerships and innovative ways to fundraise.

Proposal Development (25%)

Lead to coordinates the proposal development process for all funding opportunities with Technical Advisors including MEAL, Operations (for field team inputs, logistics requirements, costings, etc.), Security, Awards Management, Finance, and HR (for staffing requirements).

Provide inputs from donor perspective during proposal development (project design and cost competitiveness)

Act as focal point for queries and information requests from donors, SCI, or SC members.

Lead team in developing a solid and trusting relationship between major key donors/clients, Member Offices, and internal’

Together with the finance team, coordinate responsible Value-For-Money calculations in all proposal development, as required by donors and internal Finance Director.

Support Corporate Partnership Manager in facilitate go/no go meetings, including preparation of opportunity decision guides in advance, ensuring informed and responsible decisions are made concerning new funding opportunities.

Strategic Donor Engagement & Relationship Management (30%)

Developing a complete understanding of key account needs and establishing a timeline of performance, which include stewarding the donors/clients and to anticipate key account changes and required improvements.

Resolving key donors/clients’ issues and complaints

Collaborating and working across department to establish effective project management and communication to donors/clients and SC Members to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all donors/clients’ needs are met as well as to maximize revenue by up- selling or cross-selling.

Support the planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with donor, team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies.

Track donor engagement including engagement of program and technical staff with donors in the field, ensure accurate notes and actions are captured in the donor engagement tracker.

Effectively represent SC Indonesia's programme objectives, capacity and challenges to donors, fostering trusted long-term relationships. Represent Save the Children as a generalist, alongside technical experts, in donor or partner meetings and design processes as necessary.

Working with the relevant team to conduct vetting process.

Portfolio Management (10%)

Negotiating contracts with the donors/clients and/or through respective SC Members

Maintaining fundraising tracker, dashboard, AMS record

QUALIFICATIONS

Professional qualification in Business, International Development, Finance/Accounting or similar

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

University degree in international development, business administration, finance and/or minimum 6 years’ experience working in a related role.

Entrepreneurial drive

Experience managing grants, contracts & sub agreements in Non-Profit is preferable.

Fluency in English is essential (both writing and speaking).

Relevant experience managing corporate donor funded projects with International NGO’s particularly those addressing human/children’s rights and those applying partnership approaches.

Demonstrated experience of leading successful fundraising and new business development for non-governmental organizations.

Strong analytical skills, computer literacy and excellent documentation skills are a must.

Ability to work well with a team and establish relationships with other teams/offices.

Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in.

Cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Highly developed interpersonal and English communication skills including influencing and negotiation.
