Would you like to become a child champion at UNICEF Mexico, working as a Corporate Fundraiser by developing new alliances with private sector companies? It is an excellent opportunity to be part of UNICEF's New Business team and implement your negotiation skills, knowledge, and experience to develop marketing and commercial strategies to raise funds for UNICEF programs in Mexico. You will be in charge of developing strategic alliances with Mexico's leading companies to promote children's rights and negotiate high-value agreements in the main sectors such as telecommunications, finance, retail, insurance, manufacturing, and others.

How can you make a difference?

We are looking for you! By leading the New Business team, you will identify, prospect, engage, and negotiate with private-sector companies to raise funds for UNICEF's programs in Mexico.

You can make a difference by creating a fundraising pipeline to develop the optimal strategy for each prospect. You can decide to implement Cause Marketing campaigns with fast-moving consumer-goods companies, develop fundraising activities through employees and clients, sponsorship & events, and implement philanthropy strategies to involve companies' CSR area for investment in UNICEF programs or build your fundraising strategy.

Once you have decided on the optimal strategy, your tenacity, proactivity, perseverance and negotiations skills will take place to close the deal and ensure the funds to improve child living conditions and development through UNICEF programs in Mexico.

To qualify as a champion for every child you will have…

The following required education, experience, and languages:

  • A University degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, business administration, economics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in sales, negotiation or marketing
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • A proficient level of English (fluency is preferred)

You may also have the following desired education, experience, and languages, although they are not mandatory:

  • Commercial experience selling either insurance, banks services, advertising, or intangible services
  • Experience as a new business or account executive
  • Fundraising working experience
  • Working experience in international organizations
  • Fluency in English. If you do not have it and you are selected, you will have to commit to improving your English skills in the first months of work.
