UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, an advocate

UNICEF has spent 75 years working to improve the lives of children and their families. UNICEF believes all children have a right to survive, thrive and fulfill their potential – to the benefit of a better world.

To carry out the mandate of UNICEF, China Country Office (CCO) identified priority areas for Country Programme 2021-2025, including addressing the unrealized rights of children including children with disabilities, migrant families, children left behind and all vulnerable groups; addressing disparities in access to quality social services; reducing violence against women and children; ensuring the relevance of inclusive education for life and work for all children; enhancing adolescent physical and mental health; and influencing and informing the public and private sectors to influence the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals.

In demonstrating results for children at scale, UNICEF works closely with the government, private sector and other actors to reach vulnerable children through protecting their rights. UNICEF engages at national level, at the provincial and community level seeking positive change benefiting children.

The purpose of corporate partnerships is to maximize value from the corporate sector as part of an integrated corporate engagement strategy.
