Result of Service Advancement of the STF's electrocution work programme by coordinating the Electrocution DG and providing technical support to deliver the electrocution work programme.

Expected duration 80 days over 24 months.

Duties and Responsibilities 1. Coordinate the Electrocution Discussion Group (DG) in collaboration with the Saker Falcon Task Force (STF) Chair and the Raptors MOU Coordinating Unit (CU); 2. Collection, management and analysis of information; 3. Share knowledge g and project proposal development: 4. Engage and cooperate with CMS task forces and groups:

Qualifications/special skills Skills: Fully proficient computer skills, including standard PC software such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint are required. Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in environmental sciences, conservation, species management or similar field. A first-level university degree in combination with relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree. Experience: A minimum of five years' professional work experience in avian conservation. Experience facilitating international working groups, analysing studies and guidelines, compiling best practices and developing conservation plans is required. Experience with bird electrocution issues is desirable. Experience in project proposal development and fundraising processes is desirable. Language: Fluency in English (both oral and written) is required.
