The Opportunity

The Coordinator - MIS serves as the primary point of contact for delivering information management systems and services, as well as managing other ICT applications for monitoring, evaluation, research, and data management across various grants/projects within SCI’s Rohingya Response Child Protection in Emergencies (CPiE) programs. This role involves managing and coordinating data collection using various IMS and CPiE template, analyzing data and ensuring its quality, including validity, reliability, precision, integrity, and timeliness. The incumbent will directly responsible for overseeing MIS Officers and MIS Assistants and their capacity building regarding data collection tools and data protection practices. The Coordinator - MIS collaborates closely with other different level of project staff particularly the MEAL team dedicated to supporting CPiE programs. Additionally, . The role requires participation in internal and external meetings and workshops and the maintenance of relevant documents and reports for future reference. Finally, the Coordinator - MIS provides hands-on training sessions and orientation for field staff and ensures that the accountability tracker is kept up to date.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years working experience in MIS in development sector with experience in humanitarian response program. • Ability to implement and maintain MIS frameworks. • Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative data. • Expertise in developing and customizing data collection tools (e.g., surveys, questionnaires). • Proficiency in data management software tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, and PowerBi). • Familiarity with mobile data collection platforms and software (e.g., KoboToolbox). • Expertise in drafting reports in English, documentation & filing. • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to converse in the Chittagong dialect. • Expertise on Photoshop, illustrator, and/ or any audio- visual editing software will provide significant privileges to the candidate. • Computer proficiency in MS Office also having excellent Bangla and English typing skills. • Master’s Degree preferably in MIS/Statistics/Social Science or related field.
