Overview

Support the financial management of the UNOCHA-funded project ensuring compliance with SCI policies.

You have:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in the related field. Prior experience in emergency response is preferred.
  • A master's degree, preferably in Finance/ Accounting or a Chartered Accountancy qualification, would be an added advantage.
  • Advance knowledge on basic accounting procedures and practice in managing a computerised accounting system with International NGOs and Donor Agencies.
  • Good understanding of the TAX and VAT rules and the Act.
  • Good knowledge of computerised accounting systems
  • Excellent inter-personal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Hands-on computer (MS Office & Excel) operating skills.
  • Excellent coordination skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills.

The Opportunity The Coordinator- Finance will support the financial management of the CBPF project by ensuring compliance with Save the Children International (SCI) financial policies and donor requirements. The position is responsible for maintaining effective financial systems to ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial services for project implementation.

Working under the direct supervision of the Manager- Finance, and dotted to Project Manager, CBPF Project Management team, the Coordinator- Finance will oversee key financial processes including budget monitoring, advance management, payment verification, financial reporting, and cash flow forecasting. The role will work closely with programme, awards, and operations teams to ensure proper financial planning, compliance, and efficient utilisation of project resources.

Qualifications and Experience
