IDF has been working since 2005 and has touched over 15000 families from a vulnerable section of society. Most of them are daily wage-earning, small vendors, engaged in shoemaking and other small businesses. The unprecedented viral pandemic hit many lives and means of livelihood hardly last year. Many people lost their means of wages and running out of daily supplies, and people lost their hopes for survival. The objective of the proposed project is to prevent & respond to the threat posed by COVID 19 in the urban slum pockets of Agra through the provision of nutritional food to the children & family, essential commodities/ ration and hygiene needs, awareness drive, counselling to the most vulnerable and also focus on the education/ academics, health & nutritional aspects of the urban slums' children. Volunteers will write well-structured content so that we can share it with stakeholders and create a positive impact among stakeholders and will motivate them to join this Covid relief campaign through direct engagement in our activities.
