  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Coze, Dify, n8n, ChatGPT), with a basic understanding of how AI models and prompts work.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Have no immediate relatives working in any UNICEF offices.

For every child, a brighter future

China CO is a large country office. While demonstrating results for children at scale in China, UNICEF also works with the government, the private sector, and other actors to harness China's reach and resources for the benefit of children globally. To mobilize more resources for children in need, UNICEF aims to attract new friends and supporters through multiple digital channels and e-commerce platforms. It would require building trust and rapport with different audience cohorts and providing them with relevant, engaging, and valuable information.

How can you make a difference****?

This position will work with the Marketing team in the Partnership and Innovation Section to support the development and optimization of AI-driven workflows for tailored content creation, to expand in-house content production capacity and contribute to Inspired Gifts' sales. Inspired Gifts are tangible, life-saving items that UNICEF provides for children and families in need around the world.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Marketing Officer, the intern will support the following tasks:

  • AI Workflow Development: Contribute to the development and optimization of AI-driven workflows for tailored content creation
  • Knowledge Base Development: Support the structuring of existing content into a reusable knowledge base to enable AI-assisted content creation and long-term scalability
  • Prompt Optimization: Assist in prompt design, testing, and refinement based on AI-generated outputs to improve content quality and relevance
  • Content Creation and Adaptation: Support content creation, adaptation, and editing using AI tools, ensuring alignment with audience needs and brand tone
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Support continuous improvement by tracking content performance, maintaining prompt libraries, capturing best practices, and exploring new AI tools
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Marketing Team

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Able to interpret content performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with AI tools and platforms (e.g., Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Coze, Dify, n8n, ChatGPT), with a basic understanding of how AI models and prompts work, and how to design effective prompt structures; Experience in building AI-driven workflows for content creation is a plus; Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Have no immediate relatives working in any UNICEF offices.
