Logo of IRC

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a non-profit organization that responds to the world’s worst humanitarian crises by helping to restore safety, education, economic wellbeing, and power to people devastated by conflict and disaster. IRC works on putting in place high-impact and cost-effective solutions that help people affected by the crisis.

Thirty-five million children were displaced around the world by the crisis. IRC & Sesame Workshop cooperated to helping generations at risk learn, grow, and thrive. The integration of Sesame Street’s history of proven educational content and IRC’s decades of expertise in conflict is assisting younger refugees and their caregivers (in Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq) to have a brighter future by providing them with Early Childhood Development (ECD) educational content.
