How can you make a difference?

The Health/HIV Section, UNICEF East Asia Pacific Regional Office (EAPRO) is seeking an individual consultant to provide programme administrative support to the Health/HIV team and secretariat support to regional meetings/workshops as part of the 2022 workplan. The candidate applies for this consultancy will be assessed and those who has passed assessment will be recommended as potential candidate to workshop/admin support roster.

Work Assignments and Deliverables:

1. Assignment: To ensure readiness of all administrative tasks required for the preparation of workshops and meetings, which will include:

a) Coordinating with other program staff to ensure complete logistics arrangements for the conferences to be hosted or organized by the unit, including production of workshop materials, facilitating booking of hotel accommodations and transportation for the participants. Prepares conference/meeting/workshop venues; communication requirements (e.g. internet, phone, and e-mail), an invitation to participants, make arrangements for meals; and registration.

b) To provide support on IT (zoom/MS Team) when hybrid meeting is required.

c) To support the collation of training materials to be shared with all participants prior to, during or after the training.

Expected deliverable 1: Satisfactory support provided with end of contract report on task completed and final folder of workshop presentations and materials to be shared with participants.

2. Assignment: If required by section, to perform collection and processing of data related to development and/or subject-matter activities and prepares background material, working papers and tables for briefing and review sessions as may be required by section as assigned.

Expected deliverable 2: Satisfactory support provided with end of contract report on task completed.

3. Assignment: To perform other routine administrative and secretarial work as may be assigned by the team.

Duration of Contract: 1 April 2023 – 31 May 2023 (40 working days)

Duty Travel: No travel expected.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

- Minimum 4 years of experience in administrative area

- Bachelor degree in related field

- Fluent English/Thai communication skills

- Experience of working in UNICEF and/or UN system is preferred
