    How can you make a difference?

UNICEF Thailand Country Office is seeking an individual international consultant to provide an interpretation of Staff Survey (2022 Pulse Survey) through data collection and analysis for a comprehensive understanding on office culture, working environment and issues for improvement. The consultant is also expected to provide recommended options for the office to implement in order to further nourish positive office culture.

Work Assignment:

In close coordination with BSA, the consultant is required to complete the following assignment.

• Review TCO Pulse Survey results in June 2022 and its disaggregated data

• Analyze the data and collect additional information from staff through dialogue, focused group discussion or other means which allow staff to express their views and share ideas freely.

• Comprehensively scrutinize all information, integrated data and underlying facts and figures that contributing to the results

• Document good practices and recognized experiences which had happened to be further strengthen.

• Identify issues which are needed to be addressed for fostering positive workforce culture and collegial working environment.

• Recommend options on steps forward which office to consider for inclusive of an office’s action plan

Work Schedule: 10 working days within 2 months

End Product(s):

- Inception report and workplan on methodology to approach the exercise.

- Data collection organized by interview, dialogues, meetings, focused group discussion or other means from staff

- Report on data analysis with executive summary

- Visual Presentation to office’s management on the outcome and findings.

- Recommendation with options for office to consider and adopted as an office’s action plan to achieve positive workforce culture.

Duration of Contract: 10 working days within September – November 2022

Official Travel: N/A, home-based assignment with online meetings and exchanges. Working modality can also be a hybrid if the consultant is based in Bangkok which a meeting in person is recommended.

Work Location: The consultant will be working remotely on this home-based assignment.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

• Advanced university degree in related disciplines is required for specialists with proven experience of at least ten years in human resources leadership, workforce planning and team management from various sectors.

• Excellent skills in communicating and writing in English language, analytical, inter-personal and facilitation.

• Experience in reviewing and summarizing information on human resources from a variety of sources, including research findings, rules, regulations, and guideline.

• Sensitivity to cultural diversity and dedication to teamwork.

• Previous work experience in UN system also East Asia and Pacific Region is an advantage.

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
