Result of Service

OHCHR will support the MoLSP in the development and piloting of a training and mentorship program on prevention and response to professional burnout and increased resilience for the staff Territorial Social Assistance Agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop training package and materials in the field of identification, prevention and combating professional burn-out and increasing resilience to stress. The training package will include, among others practical tools that the human resources specialists can use in their further work. Also, the training capacity building programme will include the practical tasks that the participants will have to conduct (before the training and/or between the coaching session). 2. Deliver training sessions for 3 groups in the North, Center and South part of the country. Each group will include up to 25 representatives of Territorial Social Assistance Agency and staff of MoLSP on preventing and combating professional burnout and increased resilience. Three days of training will be conducted for each group (a total number of 9 training days). 3. Conduct coaching/mentoring (face to face and/or on-line), including in the form of group and individual sessions for the human resources specialists in their work with social workers in identification, prevention and combating the professional burnout.

Qualifications/special skills

First degree in psychology, social work or other relevant discipline At least 4 years of professional experience at the national level in the field of psychology, mental health, etc; At least 2 years of professional work experience in conducting trainings, coaching in the field of psycho-emotional resilience, prevention of burnout, etc; At least 1 year of professional experience in working with professionals in social field/service delivery field. Strong skills in designing and delivering effective training sessions; The capacity to work with frontline workers.

Languages

Fluency in oral and written Romanian. Working knowledge of English would be an asset.
