Overview

Design and facilitate a virtual RBM training to strengthen UNICEF's strategic support.

You have:

  • Advanced university degree in social development or a relevant field.
  • In-depth understanding of development programmes and expertise in facilitating planning and development of programmes.
  • Excellent track record in facilitation of the RBM workshops and programme planning processes particularly for UNCT.
  • Familiarity with Thailand and understanding of the country’s development programmes is an asset.
  • English fluency and strong oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).

The Programme Coordination Section, UNICEF Thailand Country Office (TCO) is seeking an individual consultant to design and facilitate a virtual Results Based Management (RBM) training for Thailand UNCT, also expand the capacity and enable fulfilment of the Office’s accountabilities and ongoing strategic support and engagement in the development of UNSDCF 2022-2026.

Work Assignment:

Design and facilitate a virtual RBM training for Thailand UNCT with focus on developing a Theory of Change (ToC) drawing from the draft UNSDCF and it’s results framework taking into account the over-all objectives of the training, and the needs of the participants.

End Product(s): Finalized reports and documents as per agreed work assignments.

Preparation including discussion and collaboration with UNICEF Thailand and Resident Coordinator’s Office for the design and planning of the RBM training

- Agenda, session plans, hand-out materials and presentation

Facilitation of the virtual RBM training

2-3 days (TBC)

At the end of the training:

- draft ToC narrative for all the 6 UNSDCF focus areas with risks and assumptions

Documentation and submission of the training final report and other materials

Final report including all training materials

Duration of Contract: 10 working days in October 2021

Working Location****: The individual contractor will work remotely in his/her own premises but will regularly report to the supervisor. All office supplies and materials will be provided by the Consultant.
