Result of Service

UNRWA Digital Impact, Technology, and Innovation Department (DITID) is seeking an experienced Intune Endpoint Administrator with expertise in implementing and maintaining the Intune environment, ensuring the security and compliance of enrolled devices, deploying, and supporting essential education applications, and providing training and assistance to users. You will also monitor and report on the performance and status of the Intune platform and identify and implement improvement initiatives to enhance the user experience and support the educational objectives of the agency. The consultant will report administratively to the Head of the End-User Service Delivery Office.

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direct supervision of the Head, End-User service delivery Unit, the selected Intune Endpoint Administrator will be responsible for the following tasks: • Establish and enforce device enrollment policies to ensure secure and authorized access to education resources. • Working with Field team to ensure that all education Desktops, laptops and tablets enrolled to Intune and connected to AZ AD . • Develop and implement protocols to monitor and maintain device compliance with organizational standards and regulations. • Facilitate the deployment and update of essential education applications across enrolled devices for seamless access to educational materials. • Implement and manage robust security configurations within Intune to safeguard sensitive educational data and maintain privacy standards. This will include create Wi-Fi profiles for tablets and push through Intune . • Design and enforce conditional access policies to regulate access based on device health and user authentication, enhancing security measures. • Establish and execute procedures for remote device wipes to mitigate security risks in case of device loss or theft. • Coordinate and oversee patching processes to ensure enrolled devices are up to date with the latest software releases and security patches. • Provide training sessions and support materials to educate users on Intune functionalities and best practices for device management. • Generate regular reports on device compliance status and security posture to maintain transparency and address any compliance issues promptly. • Monitor and analyze Intune performance metrics and optimize configurations to ensure optimal functionality and user experience. • Identify and implement opportunities for process enhancement and efficiency gains within the Intune environment to support ongoing educational objectives effectively. • Oversee the migration process of user accounts, groups, and permissions from on-premises Active Directory to Azure Active Directory, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure and customize Office 365 applications and services according to organizational needs, including SharePoint Online, Teams, and Exchange Online, optimizing user experience and productivity. • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field • At least 4 years of experience in Intune administration, configuration, and support • Strong knowledge of Intune features, functionalities, best practices, zero-touch, and enrolment methods. • Proficient in device enrollment, compliance, application deployment, security, and conditional access policies • Familiar with Windows 10,11, iOS, Android, and MacOS devices and platforms • Experience in patch management, remote wipe, and performance monitoring. • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team. • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively. • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes quickly. • Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
