- Excellent knowledge of English and French both speaking and writing
- Khmer or knowledge of another official UN language is an asset
- Strong ability to communicate effectively and persuasively, both orally and in writing
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Good computer skills

Provide assistance to support the preparation of the 4th Intergovernmental Conference on Angkor which shall be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in November 2023, in particular, to correspond with UNESCO Paris Headquarters, the members of the Quadripartite of the ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk (Embassies of Japan and France, co-chairs of ICC, APSARA and Sambor Prei Kuk National Authorities), all concerned national and international partners, member of ICC-Angor/Sambor Prei Kuk and related scientific institutions, including providing technical assistance for the design of the agenda of the Conference. 2. Assist the culture unit in the advocacy and promotion of the ICC and the 4th Intergovernmental Conference. This involves producing strategic communication materials and promotional documents, identifying target audiences and key messages, creating content for social media platforms, virtual exhibition design, and publications. 3. Assist the culture unit in preparing necessary progress reports on the ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk related to the 4th Intergovernmental Conference on Angkor. 4. Provide technical assistance in editing documents for internal and external official communications, high-quality articles, and reports on the ICC as well as preparing speeches for the speakers. 5. Assist culture unit in managing the logistics of the 4th Intergovernmental Conference on Angkor, and work with different partners on the arrangement of the conference. 6. Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Head of the Culture Unit and the National Professional Officer in charge of the ICC-Angkor/Sambor Prei Kuk to facilitate the implementation of program activities. The duration of the contract will be for a period of 11 months, from November 2022 to October 2023. It is expected the incumbent will be based at the UNESCO Phnom Penh office for the duration of the contract with some missions to attend some events in the province when required.
