Result of Service A report describing the issues and obstacles to the greater integration of geospatial and statistical information in the UNECE region, which will facilitate future work to overcome those issues and obstacles, estimated working time 60 days.

Expected duration 3 months with possible extension for 12 months

Duties and Responsibilities The consultant will support the EU funded project to support the integration of geospatial and statistical data across the UNECE region. In particular, the consultant will prepare a paper describing the issues and obstacles to the greater integration of statistical and geospatial data in the UNECE region.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: First degree in Statistics, geospatial information or related field is required.

Experience: 5 years experience in Statistics, or geospatial information or a related field is required.

Language: Fluency in English is required.

Skills : Familiarity with statistical and geospatial activities and organizations in the UNECE.is desirable.
