Overview

Conduct comprehensive inventory and establish consolidated list of equipment donated by MINUSMA.

You have:

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, management, administration, logistics, or related fields.
• 5 years of proven experience in asset management, physical inventory, and database development is required.
• Strong knowledge of administrative and financial procedures in international organizations is desirable.
• Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word) is required.
• Demonstrated rigor, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines is required.
• Ability to constitute and manage a small support team for inventory work is desirable.
• Fluency in French and a good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

The United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office (RCO) in Mali is seeking a consultant to conduct a comprehensive inventory and establish a consolidated list of equipment donated by MINUSMA, ensuring transparent and accountable management of these assets. The consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: • Collect and analyze available documents (donation lists, handover minutes, delivery notes, etc.). • Conduct a physical inventory of the donated equipment in Bamako and Gao. • Verify compliance between documentary records and actual assets. • Establish a consolidated database of inventoried assets. • Produce a detailed final report, including the validated inventory list. The consultant will report to the head of the RCO Mali office.

Qualifications/special skills
