Background

The consultant will be reporting to Human Resources Business Partner of the Regional Office, and will be supported by Human Resources Specialist and Human Resources Analyst, who will be the point of contact on the contract and payment issues.

Duties and Responsibilities

The position is open for both national and international applicants.

The consultant will participate in interview panels as a note-taker and produce high quality interview panel report using report template provided by UN Women. Normally 2-5 candidates per interview panel. The service will be rendered on “on call” basis. UN Women does not warrant that the maximum of contract amount will be purchased during the term of the Agreement.

  • Interview Report as per UN Women interview report template.

Consultant’s Workplace and Official Travel

  • This is a home-based consultancy. The assignment does not require travel.

Required Skills and Experience

Education and Certification:

  • Master’s Degree in Arts, Gender Studies, International Human Rights or relevant social sciences
  • A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in report writing, communications, and analysis research writing.
  • Excellent English report writing skills with analysis is required.
  • Working experience in interview report writing is highly desirable.
  • Working experience with the UN is an asset.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Knowledge of any other UN official language is an asset.
