Background

Upgrade of Service Mapping APP

The service mapping app was developed under the phase II of Yemen Livelihood and Human Security (YLHS) project. The purpose of the application is to increase access to referral and other basic services. Considering the importance of the APP and easier way to reach out the vulnerable individuals and communities, UNDP has decided to improve the APP for wider access. The application was launched in Dec 23 ,2020 and in the presence of the protection actors and district authority. UNDP would like to go further and upgrade the application with recommended upgrades that will enhance the app and make it user friendly, these suggestions were also proposed during the launch and UNDP would request to carry on upgrade of the app.

Duties and Responsibilities

The mobile application can be found by clicking here, while we will share the source code only with the selected consultant in order to conduct and upgrade these tasks.

1. Add control panel to the app -February 15th, 2021
2. Develop the IOS version of the app-February 20th, 2021.
3. Add new features, post suggestions / feedback, post emails, post evaluation- February 25th, 2021.
4. Sharing the application via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. February 28th, 2021.
5. Publish the app on google play and app store. March 25th, 2021.
6. Handover the copywrite of the APP to UNDP for further scaling up-March 10th, 2021.

To conduct the above activities, UNDP would support the vendor financially through direct payment mode.

Time and Method of payment

Payment shall be provided upon satisfactory completion of the deliverables outlined above. Payment requests submitted by the Consultant must be certified by the supervisor(s)

a certification of payment needs to be signed and approved by the direct supervisor (PM) attached to it explaining the accomplishment of the tasks.

PAYMENT SCHEME

100%. upon the completion and submission of the final version of the app.

Due date: March 10, 2021.

The stipulated time for the above task is one month, starting from the first of February15, 2021 – March 10, 2021. All the above deliverables would be handled by UNDP and finance.

Interested qualified and experienced individual consultants must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications and interest:

1- Letter of Confirmation of interest and availability using the template provided by UNDP; including to fill the required annexes.

2- Personal detailed CV including past experience in similar assignment ( Include names and links for those application you developed) and at least 3 references;
