Expected duration 6 to11 months

Duties and Responsibilities - Research technologies and solutions to support security and cloud migration projects - Develop expertise in Microsoft technologies - Propose and mature architectural visions, especially for server and identity management as well as governance - Test proposed technical solutions - Work with Microsoft and consultants on verifying proposed solutions - Do cost estimates for proposed solutions - Implement solutions - Coordinate the implementation of solutions across various teams in headquarter and field locations - Provide training and technical support to teams implementing the technical solutions - Scripting and automating security processes - Implement Integrating on-prem systems with solutions in Azure - Monitor recommendations and alerts generated in Azure - Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A university degree or master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, or other related disciplines.

Experience: - A minimum of 5 years of experience for a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years for a master’s degree in IT. - Experience in Active Directory or Azure Active Directory - Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies - Great knowledge of information technologies - Experience in system administration, system deployment or system configuration

Language: - Fluency of spoken and written English.

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE - The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable based on performance and fund availability. - Remuneration for this consultancy is 1,592.60 $, and it will depend on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. - The consultant will be based in Gaza.

Additional Information UNRWA Information Management and Technology Department (IMTD) is seeking a Cloud Security Expert who will be responsible for projects related to Microsoft Azure and Azure AD and migration of on-prem solutions to the cloud. The background of the candidate should include strong experience in Microsoft technologies, especially in server administration and identity management.

The incumbent will work on innovative projects related to cutting-edge solutions, performing tests, researching, proposing architectural solutions, implementing, training and supporting other teams in the implementation of proposed architectures.

The consultant will report administratively to Head, Field Information Management and Technology Office and technically to the Head, Information Security Office at Headquarters Amman.
