You have:
- A university degree or a master's degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 6 years bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years for a master’s degree
- Deep domain expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions
- Varied experience in security applications such as anti-virus, IDS, Firewalls, etc.
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Experience in Azure PaaS and IaaS SQL Server instances
- Experience developing integrations with Azure Cloud Services
- Experience writing secure code to prevent vulnerabilities and exploits
- Familiarity with Jira and Bitbucket

Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technologists and architects to make technical security recommendations for cloud native development * Developing new frameworks for cloud security. * Implementing new security measures on the Azure cloud. * Collaborating with programmers and developers to create strategies for improving security. * Scripting and automating security processes using Azure. * Informing clients about the Azure cloud and its services. * Using networking and virtualization to improve cybersecurity measures. * Maintaining communication with project heads to keep track of progress. * Meeting with clients to discuss their security needs and satisfaction with Azure services. * Using internal resources from Microsoft and external resources to develop security measures. * Organizing reports that detail new security implementations for clients to review. * Creating cybersecurity systems for cloud environments and hybrid environments that use stationary hardware. * Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications/special skills
MINIMUM ǪUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • A university degree or a master's degree from an accredited educational institution in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. • Minimum 6 years bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years for a master’s degree. • Deep domain expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions. • Varied experience in security applications such as anti-virus, IDS, Firewalls, etc. • Fluency in spoken and written English. CONDITIONS OF SERVICE • The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds. • Remuneration for this consultancy is $1,705.00 plus 8.33% of advanced termination Indemnity and depends on the qualifications and relevant experience. • The incumbent can be in any of UNRWA's fields of operations. • The incumbent can work remotely. • Minimum 6 years bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years for a master’s degree.
