You have:
- At least 4 years of progressive experience as a senior Business Intelligence developer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on SSAS, SSIS, ETLs, Cubes, Power BI, DAX, and MDX.
- University degree from an accredited educational institution in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and connecting to OLAP cubes or any other data sources.
- Experience in designing and creating cubes for complex business requirements.
- Experience in writing DAX and MDX expressions for Microsoft Analysis Services.
- Experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence Architecture.
- Previous experience as an ETL developer with strong data architecture knowledge around data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with SQL Server databases as developer.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Fluency in spoken and written Arabic.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Head, Enterprise Architecture and Business Intelligence Unit, and in close collaboration with the EBI team, the selected Business Intelligence Specialist will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Analyze business requirements, provide possible solutions, and develop data models accordingly. • Develop multi-dimensional models according to business requirements compatible with warehouse standards. • Design and develop OLAP Databases using SSAS database objects. • Develop ETL packages. • Design and develop reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using MS Power BI. • Configure and deploy ETLs and Cubes. • Create and maintain documentation that includes design, requirements, and user manuals. • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

DELIVERABLES • Functional Dashboards that meet the specified requirements and design specifications. (25%) • Data warehouse dimensional Model that aligns with the analytical data requirements. (25%) • Deliver well-organized and documented source code for the application, adhering to coding standards and best practices. (20%) • Testing and Quality Assurance Reports: Conduct thorough testing of the application to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a high level of quality and reliability. (20%) • Deployment Package that includes all necessary files and configurations for deploying the application to a production environment. (10%)

Contract Conditions
• The selected candidate will be based in UNRWA HQA Amman - Jordan. • The duration of the Contract is 11 months and possibility of extension subject to the availability of funds and continuing need and satisfactory performance. • The selected candidate will receive monthly fees of JD919.80, equivalent to the UNRWA Jordan salary scale.

The consultant will report to Head, Enterprise Architecture and Business Intelligence Unit (HQ-Amman).
