Develop software solutions and support applications as an ASP.Net Developer

You have:

  • A university degree or master's degree from an accredited educational institution in information technology, information management, Information systems, computer science, computer engineering, Software engineering, Business Administration, Management, or other related disciplines
  • Experience in IT and Software Development, or related experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience for a bachelor's degree and 1 year for a master's degree in web applications development using ASP.Net and MS SQL Server; of which 1 year in using WCF, Web API’s using .Net framework & VB.Net/C#
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience in implementing multi-user systems
  • Experience or knowledge of HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, object-oriented analysis, and design
  • Experience in MS TFS or Azure DevOps
  • Experience in rigorous testing and validation
  • Fluent in spoken and written English

Work Location Gaza

Expected duration 6 to11 months

Duties and Responsibilities ¿ Performs software development and maintenance tasks on applications to which assigned. ¿ Performs limited analysis tasks as assigned by the supervisor for the design, implementation, customization, and maintenance of Agency software applications. ¿ Assists in collecting and documenting user requirements and preparing system and program specifications. ¿ Assists in preparing user manuals and other documentation for the systems and applications assigned. ¿ Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications:

Experience:

Service Conditions:

¿ The duration of the consultancy is 6 to 11 months, extendable according to performance and availability of funds. ¿ Remuneration for this consultancy will be USD 1,410.70, depending on fund availability, qualifications, and relevant experience. ¿ The incumbent will be only in Gaza.

Additional Information UNRWA Information Management and Technology Department (IMTD) is seeking ASP.net Software Developer who will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions in HQG IT Service Center or supporting software development projects at UNRWA HQ Amman.

The consultant will report administratively and technically to Head Information Technology Service Centre at Headquarter Gaza.
