Scope of Work:

Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Donor Relations Specialist, this consultancy is required to provide UNICEF Jordan Partnerships section with support in high quality donor reporting.

The consultancy will primarily contribute to donor reporting during the period by:

Quality reporting for resource mobilization and donor accountability

Collaborating with the Jordan Country Office’s programme sections to plan for, send guidance on, develop, compile, draft and edit reports to be used for donors (including: quarterly situation reports, quarterly information notes, progress and final reports for donors, and ad-hoc donor updates as required). Collaborates with budget officer for financial reporting to donors.

1 quarterly situation report

Timeline: July 2022

Task 2:

Quality reporting for resource mobilization and donor accountability

Deliverable:

25 regular donor reports (including progress reports, final reports, and quarterly information notes)

Timeline: May- August 2022

Task 3:

Quality reporting for resource mobilization and donor accountability

Deliverable:

Other tasks related to reporting such as collecting, drafting and producing 1-2 page updates for ad-hoc donor requests or meetings as required

Timeline: May-August 2022

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

  • A first University Degree in Development, Social Policy, Health, International Relations, or relevant field.

  • A minimum five years professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: donor relations/partnerships, reporting. Technical knowledge: Prior experience writing donor reports is required. Experience in working within UN system (I.e. UNICEF), result-based reporting, and drafting Consolidated Emergency Reports.

  • Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.

This position is not considered an elevated risk role. However, UNICEF reserves the right to conduct further vetting/ assessment within the scope of child safeguarding as appropriate.
