Purpose of the position

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager the consultant will support and facilitate with a range of activities related to recruitment and selection of staff based in UNICEF Georgia and will provide administrative support.

The incumbent will be working on the following major duties and responsibilities:

Major tasks and responsibilities:

Support HR Associate and the hiring managers in recruitment and selection process.

Administer written tests, attend job interviews, take notes and prepare high quality selection report adhering to timelines for the office selection.

Assist in administrative and logistics tasks as necessary.

Qualification and Experience of Successful Candidate

Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Management, Human Resources, Business, International Relations or other related fields;

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in the area of administration, interviewing and recruitment in international organization. Experience in recruiting in UN framework highly desirable.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good writing skills.

Fluency in written and spoken English and Georgian languages;

Ability to work independently and under pressure, ensuring high quality results.

Location

Tbilisi, home based.

Duration of Contract

The contract is for 2 months: from 20 January - through 20 March 2021.

Payment Terms

The monthly remuneration will be negotiated between UNICEF Georgia and the selected candidate, based on an initial proposal of the selected candidate. Applicants are therefore requested to submit a monthly gross remuneration proposal in GEL.

Termination of Contract

The contract can be terminated by either party before its expiry date by giving a one-month prior notice in writing to the other party.

However, in the event of termination on the ground of misconduct, UNICEF will be entitled to terminate the contract immediately, without prior notice.

In case of early termination of the contract, the Contractor will be compensated on a pro-rata basis for no more than the actual amount of work completed to the satisfaction of UNICEF.

The deadline for the application submission is 15 January 2021. The applications should include:

  • CV (with at least three references);
  • Cover letter;
  • Proposed monthly gross remuneration in GEL.

Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
