As part of its information and communication activities, the Culture Unit plans to engage in the promotion of the selected International Days through social media and website **both in English and Arabic**. **WORK ASSIGNMENTS** --------------------- Under the overall authority of the Director of UNESCO Regional Bureau for Sciences in the Arab States in Cairo and the direct supervision of the Programme Specialists for Culture and in close cooperation of the Communication and Information Unit and the IT Unit of the Office, the Individual Consultant will **produce visuals with text in Arabic and English** for the celebration of the following international days: - 9 August: International Day of the World’s Indigenous People - 12 August: International Youth Day - 21 September: International Day of Peace - 18 November: International Day of Islamic Art - 18 December: World Arabic Language Day Long Description ---------------- In this regard, the consultant shall perform the following; 1. Undertake research on the past, ongoing and future actions by the UNESCO Office in Cairo related to the International Day concerned to determine key message and identify visual materials tailored for the Arab region 2. Prepare draft multimedia content for social media posting (including video, animation, etc.) and website platforms and submit them to UNESCO before the Day concerned for feedback 3. Integrate feedback to finalise the content 4. Assist in other ad-hoc activities of the Office’s information and communication activities as instructed. 5.
