Overview

Draft a comprehensive Post Mapping Report on Transitional Justice

You have:

  • Masters' degree in the fields of Law or Transitional Justice, Human Rights or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting applied research in human rights, transitional justice processes and justice and accountability.
  • Experience in developing and drafting Mapping reports or reports focused on Justice and Human Rights or related fields.
  • Ability to work in teams and experience in leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluency in French and English (oral and written).
  • Excellent communication and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong report writing skills.

Result of Service -Post Mapping Report that assesses the level of implementation of the Roadmap for Transitional Justice following recommendations of the Bangui Forum and the recommendations of the 2017 Mapping Report.

Work Location Home and Bangui

Expected duration -Five (5) months, including working from the Country of residence of the Consultant and regular trips to Bangui.

Duties and Responsibilities -Develop and draft a comprehensive Post Mapping Report covering the periods from 2016 to 2021;

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: -Masters' degree in the fields of Law or Transitional Justice, Human Rights or related field. Experience: -Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting applied research in the areas of: human rights , transitional justice processes and justice and accountability; -Experience in developing and drafting Mapping reports or reports with a focus on Justice and Human Rights or related field; -Ability to work in teams, experience in leadership of multidisciplinary teams and ability to engage with all hierarchical levels of Government; -Excellent communication and strong analytical and report writing skills. Language: -Fluency in French and English (oral and written).
