OBJECTIVE
The objective of this assignment is to provide technical support to the participatory process to develop an evidence-based Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) Model to promote acceptance of diversity and co-existence in Egypt. The selected consultant will be responsible for a desk review, stakeholders mapping, situation analysis, facilitating relevant consultations, defining the Model's logical framework and identifying relevant partnerships.
METHODOLOGY
Working in close collaboration with NCCM, the consultant will be reporting to the C4D Chief of Section and working in close collaboration with UNICEF team focusing on children on the move in different sections (CP, Education, Health, ADAP, EC, PFP). The consultant will combine desk review of existing literature, including analysis of print, mass, and social media, with in-depth interviews and focus groups with selected stakeholders based on the situation analysis report. During a participatory workshop and based on behavioral change theories the consultant will outline a Social and Behavioural Change Communication (SBCC) Model to promote inclusion between migrants and the hosting community. The model entails the definition of a logical framework, action plan and related monitoring and evaluation plan based on the situation analysis and stakeholder mapping presented during the designing workshop. During a validation workshop, the SBCC Model will be finalized together with partnerships and financial plans.
Due to COVID 19, physical distancing measure might apply. Alternatives interaction modalities will be considered accordingly. The proposed timeline might also varies due to the pandemic.
