Provide expert advice on blended financing for water projects.
You have:
- Advanced degree in water services financing, sustainability, international development or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in programme development, water financing, and investment planning.
- Demonstrated experience with an established network in development of bankable water projects.
- Work experience with development banks or industry stakeholders will be highly valued.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; skills in Portuguese highly valued.
- Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
- Advanced degree in one of the following fields: water services financing, sustainability, international development or other related fields. A first level university degree in combination with and additional two years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in programme development, water infrastructure financing and investment planning, economics, and private sector engagement, sustainability or human rights impact assessments; preferably with some at the international level and within developing country contexts.
- Demonstrated and proven experience, with an established network and track record of engaging governments and private sector partners in development of bankable water projects or investment
- Work experience with development banks or industry-related stakeholders will be highly valued. Work experience in Africa is desirable and/or good knowledge of African social issues, or willing to learn about these issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Skills in Portuguese will be highly valued.
- Ability to work independently in a multi-cultural environment.

Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws.
