WWF-Myanmar is now inviting applications for consultancy to map out for the Possible Riparian Restoration Sites at designated project areas in Myanmar for one month by working from home with site visits to the Delta Area.

The objective of this assignment is to study the degradation of riparian courses and to extrapolate the information of the existing and potential sites for restoration of riparian zones along the targeted rivers in Myanmar using high resolution images with Geographic Information Systems technology and ground truthing through some of the site visits.

Scope of work

The consultant is expected to deliver the below scope of the work as follows: To study the riparian degradation in the target segment of Ayeyarwady River in Myanmar especially in the Delta Area (including both Yangon and Ayeyarwady Region)
To produce the extrapolated map of the possible sites for riparian restoration in the designated project areas
