You have:
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biodiversity Conservation, or a related field
- Proven experience in conducting biodiversity assessments, preferably in mangrove ecosystems especially in Pyaphon
- Experience in participatory approach with local communities
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, maps and report writing
- Able to work closely with the project team and other stakeholders, including local communities
- Preferable a group of individual consultant or consultant firm, only Myanmar nationality
- Fluency in both writing and speaking English

WWF-Myanmar is now inviting applications for Consultancy assignment: Biodiversity Assessment in Ayeyarwady Delta with home-based and frequent site visits during 4 months.

Objectives The main objective of this consultancy is to conduct a detailed baseline biodiversity assessment of the target areas in the Ayeyarwady Delta, with a focus on the mangrove ecosystems. The consultant will evaluate the status of biodiversity, identify key species and habitats of mangrove ecosystems within the WWF’s target area in Ayeyarwady Delta. As the scope of work, The consultant will be responsible for desk review, fieldworks, data analysis and reporting.

Requirements
